I had some work experience over before christmas, designing a series of leaflets for a local charity that helps under 18's with drug and alcohol problems, called The Matthew Project Under18. Was a great experience we talked to young people to find out what would make them read a leaflet. We started a week placement in mid-december and had the main leaflet near enough done, but just about ready to print the laptop died. We had borrowed an ancient mac, and it was completely dead. It lost all that we had done, hours from printing it.
But two months on and two hand-ins later. I have finally completed the finals for the series of leaflets they are done. The Matthew Project were extremely pleased and are in the process of getting it printed. They have offered me some more work, this time I get paid! First paid graphics job. I'm so pleased.
